Have you ever wondered why you are what you are?
I mean, not in the sense of what kind of person you’ve become, but your context. Why is it that you were born in America, or Kenya, or Taiwan? And why your parents?
Maybe it’s a roll of the dice. Perhaps it’s more design.
Either way, it makes me sense that human beings are more similar than they are different. And our similarities connect us in a way that we rarely want to give credit for.
In the spirit of solidarity, think and pray for someone…anyone…in a different place in the world today. It could be a nameless face, or a faceless name.
Because who you are and where you are doesn’t make you as different as you think.
