Sometimes with the big stuff we focus a lot of energy on prayer. Problems can play at the forefront of our minds, occupying our hearts and minds, and influencing our relationship with God.
So when God actually answers our prayers, when all of the concerns are over, and all of the questions (or at least most of them) answered, what’s left?
Sometimes it can be hard to shift our prayers when we have spent so much time asking and pleading to the Lord for a particular request. A good start would be to shift from petition to praise. When things are going wrong, we say to ourselves “I’m going to pray about that.” But when God answers our prayers, our response should be, “I’m going to praise about that.”
Today, perhaps you can spend a little bit in prayer…as well as praise.
