Good or bad, change makes you evaluate things. It trips up the routine and challenges you to wonder if what you’re doing is the best way or the right way.
And if you keep everything like it is, you likely won’t really know if there’s a better way.
So change it up: the way you do dishes, the arrangement of furniture, priorities at work, anything. Change…just once…for the sake of change; just to keep you honest. You can always go back, but you’d do so with a new found confirmation that what you’re doing is good or efficient or virtuous.
