I’m dedicating this week of blog posts toward thanks-giving.  I hope you can identify with this, and it would prompt your own bit of giving thanks.  Um…thanks for reading!

“Life as you know it is over,” said a friend 8 months into my wife’s pregnancy.

My friend likes to provide a little shock value sometimes, but he wasn’t wrong.  Being a dad has changed my life, as parenthood has no doubt changed yours.  In so many ways, I can’t go back to the way things used to be…and that can be challenging sometimes.  We used to travel a lot…I miss traveling.

But I wouldn’t change anything; and I certainly wouldn’t want to go back.  Today, I’m thankful for my family.  I’m thankful for my wife, my son, and any future child we might have (no, mom, this isn’t any announcement).
