Are You a Mr. Fix It?

I’m a problem-solver…a Mr. Fix It.  When an issue arises, my instinct is to draw up a plan and act.

It’s no surprise, then, that when I face a problem I can’t fix right away, I panic.

But there’s good news in this–good, freeing news.  It is the reminder that I’m not in control of my life as much as I think I am.  And so instead of immediate action, my inadequacy has called me to prayer.

Open-ended, non-manipulative, state-my-plight-before-God type of prayer.

There is nothing too big or too small.  Everything deserves prayer.
